Father's Day Craft for Kids to Make

Our Father's Day Craft for Kids is perfect if you're looking for a cute and easy Father's Day gift.

On Father's Day I like to plan a special day for my husband and all that he is and does. We have a few things in mind that we'd like to do with him that day, like bringing him to brunch and the putting range. We purchased a few gifts for him, one being a Yeti coffee mug since I hear they are all the rage and hopefully he loves it because those things aren't cheap.

We also bought a headphone adapter for his phone case and a new wallet, just a few things that we know that he's been eyeing but doesn't like to spend the money on himself. And last but not least, we always like to include something homemade. This year it's muffins and cards. We are adding a little personalized note with this Father's Day Craft. This craft is super easy and it includes a pun which I love.

How to make our Father's Day Craft for Kids:

Materials:

• Red, white, and blue card stock
• Small paper plate
• Craft sticks
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Black Sharpie

1. Cut a red and blue square from your card stock about 2"x 2" and a white rectangle about 2"x 3".
   
2. Cut one side of the red square into a rounded point as shown. Round the bottom corners of the blue square as shown.
   
3. Use your glue stick to glue the red square with the rounded peak facing up onto he top of the white rectangle and the blue square to the bottom of the white rectangle.
4. Glue a popsicle stick onto the back.
   
5. Glue your popsicle onto a small paper plate and use a Sharpie to write "You da Bomb, Pop", inspired by those yummy Bomb Pop popsicles. You can also include a small personalized message to your Dad or Grandpa.

P.S. I'm 99.9% sure my husband doesn't read our blog so all of these surprises should still remain surprises, haha.
