With cold weather coming, this essential oil hand cream will keep your skin hydrated.

I jumped on the essential oil band wagon a year or two ago and although I don’t grab for my oils very much in the summer, I can tell when the seasons change. As the sun begins to set earlier and cold fall weather sets in, I notice y skin really takes a hit. Mostly my hands feel dry and irritated, especially when I turn on my furnace!

I prefer to put my hand cream in small containers, almost the size of lip balm. A little bit goes a long way and by having multiple containers, I can stash them all over the place – in my purse, in the car, and next to my night stand. This recipe fits well into two small lip balm containers.

I head to Amazon to grab my beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter and almond oil. Depending on the time of year and my mood, depends on the types of Essential Oils I choose. If it’s wintertime, I reach for Thieves. In the spring and summer I grab a citrus or grapefruit oil. This time I used lavender, as I like to use it before bedtime. This recipe even works well without the essential oils!
