Homemade Chewy Granola Bars are easy to make and great for a grab & go breakfast or quick, healthy snack!
Every January I feel like I reset. I don’t do New Years resolutions. Ever. Instead I often reset and try to start fresh thinking ahead and making goals for the new year. Yes, eating healthier is often on the list, but for me, eating healthy is all the time and I believe in moderation is key. Yes, I work out 4-5 days a week. But I also enjoy a Wendy’s cheeseburger every week, too. I like to live a little.
These homemade chewy granola bars are awesome. They are easy to make, good for you and the kids love them! They are perfect for a quick snack or grab & go breakfast. And, they are so versatile. You can add other mix-ins: dried fruits, nuts, even chocolate chips! The possibilities are endless.
I like making at least two batches. I cut them into smaller bars and individually wrap each one in plastic wrap. I place them in a tub and keep in the fridge so they stay firm. They are easy for the kids to grab for a snack or breakfast.
