It’s an easy lifestyle to follow and low carb pepperoni chips are an easy and delicious snack that takes only minutes to make!
My family and I love pepperoni and we always have it on hand in the fridge. Between homemade pizzas and just snacking on pepperoni slices straight out of the fridge I wanted to find another recipe to utilize the pepperoni.
Going low carb means I am always on the look out for new recipes to try. It’s gets old and boring eating the same baked chicken recipe from week to week. Low carb snacks for me usually include beef jerky, cheese sticks and veggies with cream cheese. One night I wanted chips and searched Pinterest for an alternative and found Pepperoni Chips. I know, I know, they sound weird. I’ve never ‘cooked’ just pepperoni before but thought I’d give it a try and oh my goodness, they were delicious!
Low Carb Keto Friendly Pepperoni Chips
Pepperoni Chips are so easy to make, just grab a paper plate and line with paper towel. Place the pepperoni slices on the paper towel as shown and microwave on high for 1 minute. The chips will become crispy and the paper towel will soak up the grease from the cooked chips.
Let cool a few minutes and enjoy with your favorite dip OR eat them as is. My kids love pepperoni chips and now ask for them a few times a week.
