Keep your doll warm and toasty with our No Sew American Girl Headband & Mittens!
My 7 year old daughter absolutely loves her American Girl Dolls. She plays with them everyday for hours on end. I love that she likes her dolls so much and they keep her off the electronics. Her little sister has an Our Generation doll (Target brand) and an American Girl Wellie Wisher that she enjoys playing with big sister, too. Both of them enjoy playing house and moving the doll furniture and accessories around.

I've had friends make comments regarding the price of the dolls and yes, they are on the pricey side but after buying a doll you can save money by buying off-brand clothes and accessories. You can save even more by making items yourself. This easy No Sew American Girl Headband & Mittens literally takes minutes to make and will only cost you a few dollars.
All you need for this fun project are a colorful pair of stretchy gloves from the dollar store and a pair of scissors. Grab your American Girl doll and let's get started!
No Sew American Girl Headband & Mittens
Materials:
- American Girl Doll
- Colorful stretchy gloves
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Use the scissors to gently cut the wristband off one of the gloves.
- Next, cut two fingers off the pair of gloves - 2". You want the mittens longer because the ends will roll a bit.
- Place on your American Girl doll and have fun!
Can you believe how easy this project is? The best part is that one pair of gloves will give you TWO sets of headbands and lots of mittens, so you can swap and share with friends.
