Being a home owner, there always seems to be something to do around your house. Whether you own your home or rent, maintenance and up keep is something that is always needed. My husband and I own our home and have a verbal agreement, he handles all the outside maintenance and I handle the inside maintenance (for the most part).

I’m not going to lie, house maintenance isn’t my favorite. I grew up as a tomboy on a rural farm but I’m kind of embarrassed to admit, I’m kind of a girly girl. I’m not big on fixing stuff around the house but when it comes to drains I’m a total expert because Roto-Rooter® products are here to help!

I have long hair and so do my daughters. After contracting lice several years ago and cutting my girls hair super short we once again have long hair. My daughters figure skate and we keep it long to style for skating competitions.

The issue with long hair though, is that it’s everywhere: the couch, the beds, on jackets, in the bathroom sinks and in the bathtubs and shower drains. Long hair often clogs the drains and then leaves the drain clogged. Water will start to back up in the shower and before you know it, you’re standing a bath tub half full of water when it should be draining. It’s super frustrating, not to mention, messy! No one likes a clogged drain or sink and Roto-Rooter is perfect for your needs!

6 Steps For Unclogging a Drain:

Step 1: Try a plunger. We have a several plungers in our home in convenient locations as my kids tend to clog the toilets. A lot.
Step 2: Use Roto-Rooter® Gel Clog Remover. We’ve tried other brands but Roto-Rooter has always worked for us so it’s now our go-to brand.
Step 3: Pour Roto-Rooter® Gel Clog Remover down the drain.
Step 4: Wait 10 minutes.
Step 5: Rinse with hot water.
Step 6: Repeat if needed.

I’ve found using Roto-Rooter Gel Clog Remover one time with usually do the trick and the drain will once again, flow free. Want to learn more about Roto-Rooter products and get a money saving coupon? Here over HERE!
