It’s finally the end of September and Halloween is about a 4 weeks away. The kiddos have been back in school for almost a month and the weeks seem to be flying by. My kids are already excited about Halloween and I am too! Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love dressing up and making my children’s costumes, as well as my own. I also love crafting fun and unique Halloween crafts to dress up our home without breaking the bank.

When I feel like crafting I love to head to our local Dollar Tree store. It’s conveniently located near our downtown and I often stop by 1-2 times a week. This year, I wanted to make a fun Halloween themed wreath for our home decor, so I headed into Dollar Tree to see what I could find!

I walked up and down the Dollar Tree aisles for few minutes and ended up grabbing several packages of Halloween themed cupcake wrappers to create a fun and unique wreath that would be perfect for dressing up our front door or on top of our mantle above the television. After snagging the cupcake wrappers, I headed to the craft section. Last year I picked up a small wreath that was made from branches but because Dollar Tree’s stock is ever changing, I didn’t find those. I did however, find a 10″ foam wreath that would be perfect to adhere the cupcake wrappers too. I already had my trusty low temp hot glue gun at home so I grabbed my supplies and headed to checkout and then got to work!

Want to create your Halloween themed wreath or your own unique and inexpensive Halloween crafts this fall? After September 26th, Dollar Tree’s Halloween products are removed from online and sold only in store so head to your local Dollar Tree Store in person where you can find all the Halloween items shown in this tutorial.
