If you’re reading this because you saw the “B” word, I am almost certain you will not be disappointed in these Maple Bacon Appetizers!

I’m pretty certain {{almost}} everyone loves B-A-C-O-N! I know I do! When I was a kid we’d have it for breakfast on the weekends, and my sister and I loved the way my dad cooked the bacon. It was perfect. Every. Single. Time. I can remember eating breakfast and then going to church on Sunday and when we returned from church, the house smelled like bacon. Today I’m no different – I love it when my dad cooks bacon when we visit my parents house for the holidays and he makes a big breakfast. His bacon is still perfect.

I recommend using pure maple syrup. Now I have a hook-up from the Upper Peninsula. Usually I do some favors for her such as creating her Christmas cards or making birthday invitations for her kids, and she gives me maple syrup from her family’s annual harvest. You can also purchase pure maple syrup at most grocery stores and farmer’s markets. All of them taste a little bit different, but are oh-so-good.
