I was able to take that recipe and make it gluten free by using Mueller’s® Gluten Free Penne, perfect for anyone with dietary restrictions.

Gluten Free Chicken Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8oz) package Mueller’s® Gluten Free Penne
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped garlic
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 10-12 ounces cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1-1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shreded
  • salt and pepper

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain well.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and garlic over medium high heat.
  3. Add tomatoes and heat for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in chicken and simmer for 5 minutes, or until chicken is heated through.
  5. Add pasta and mozzarella cheese, toss to combine and serve.
